Collaborator Bio

Rev. Sue Turley began her artistic journey as soon as she was old enough to hold a crayon. From a young age, art felt like a private world she could step into—a place of joy, imagination, and curiosity. Sue’s career as a Swedenborgian minister, offering spiritual care to people experiencing grief, trauma, and profound life transitions—and her own journey after losing her son in the Iraq War—shapes the emotional honesty of her work. Now, in this season of her life, she finds meaning, purpose and spiritual deepening through her art. As she brings her creativity out in the world, she hopes her art will serve as such, for others.
