Beginning in October 2026 the Helen Keller Spiritual Life Collaborative will be hosting a 7 month long Embodied Leadership Circle for women clergy and seminarians of the Swedenborgian Church of North America who are pastoring new ministry initiatives, church restarts and long standing communities. At this time of great change this circle will support women leaders to cultivate deeper self trust, greater clarity, presence, and resilience as they follow their unique calls. As women leaders, filling traditionally male roles, this circle will make space to hold both the challenges and the opportunities, that healing, confidence and creativity may be fostered.
In line with our commitment to nurture new forms of the new church life, we of the HKSLC see women leaders as important shepherds of the emerging new church, and embodiment vital to that emergence.
- 7 month circle October 2026 – April 2027
- Women who are active in ministry roles furthering the life of the SCNA
- Monthly 90 minute sharing sessions
- Monthly 60 minute focus sessions. (Each woman can request a focus session during the series to tackle a particular issue/tension and receive feedback and support.)
- A private virtual space to connect and share in between sessions.
Our 7 month circle will use the creation story to shape our conversation and sharing with the following reflections:
“Let there be light,” What light dawned that set you on this path of ministry?
“Separating the waters,” How is your inner life? How is your outer life? Where is there resonance, where is there disharmony?
“Finding ground,” What is it time to release to accept the ground you are standing on?
“The great lights.” What lights provide guidance and sustenance to walk your path?
“Life emerging inside and out,” What intuitions are entering in? What truths are calling to be lived?
“Embodying our light,” What does it feel like to be embodying the light that you are in the role that you inhabit? “Sabbath Rest,” How can you live more from a state of flow and surrender as you continue to walk the path.
Cost of the series will be $350. To confirm your participation please submit payment by October 1st 2026. Payment can be made here: https://helenkellercollaborative.org/home/donate/
