Helen Keller would always honor March 3, 1887 as her “Spiritual Birthday,” the day she met her teacher Annie Sullivan and her life changed forever. As we seek to honor and carry forward the spiritual legacy of Helen Keller, we have made it our practice to hold an annual celebration of Helen Keller’s Spiritual Birthday each year on the first week of March.

This is a fully virtual celebration accessible to all.

Please plan to join us for this coming year’s celebration March 2-8th, 2026. This year’s theme is BE HONEST.   Responding to an exhortation that Helen Keller offered to a national gathering of members of the New Church in 1928 saying “Let us not value the vessel of the New Church more than the treasure,” we will invite attendees to respond to the following prompt:

“What is a treasure/truth that you have come to deeply know and live from that has helped to illuminate your path?”

In a time of a lot of confusion, doubt and fear it will be so heartening to hear each other’s direct experience of the truth that grounds us.

Do plan to join us!
